Alphabet People Funky Font

For  my final project for my first year of illustration I produced an illustrated font. The idea was to include pattern and colour in my designs and to create the letters by making my figures form the shapes. It was a lot of fun and I ended up with about four different designs per letter, capital and lower case, serif and sans serif, but the letters included in the image below were my favourites. They still need a bit of work, but I was quite happy with the result, I think they'll make an interesting poster or tote bag design. Anyway, have a look and tell me what you think.

My works featured on these pages: (I think I like the shoe illustrations best)

ETSY SHOP OPEN!

Take a look at my wares! If you fancy a tote bag now is your chance to grab one of my designs. The photographs don't do the bags proper justice, I'm not the greatest photographer.

These are my current available designs:

If you would like a bag with the design in a different place then let me know and I can get that sorted for you, email : trickster_100@hotmail.com

What I've been up to....

Playing with photoshop filters. These illustrations are for the first release of Teenbook magazine. This image will feature in an article about Josie Loren. An actress who featured in 17 again and Drake and Josh as well as various other shows. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josie_Loren.

Boscombe Pier Art & Craft Event

The Schweet collective (www.schweetcollective.blogspot.com) headed down to Boscombe for the Alice In Wonderland themed tea party. Sadly not many people got the message that this was the theme and I only saw 4 actually dress up for the occasion. None the less, it was still a fun day, meeting new people and finding out what they thought of our work. This was a trial run for things to sell for me. Letter keyrings went rather well so thats a plus :) Here's a few pictures of my swag. Check out the collectives website for further pictures.

Merchandise For May

My latest additions for the Schweet Collective's arty stall.

A selection of tote bags, £6 a pop if you fancy one, drop me an email (trickster_100@hotmail.com / h2kat@hotmail.com) with the postal address to send it to, which design you would like and we can sort something out, most likely paypal. I was thinking of ebaying, or etsying them perhaps.

Also letter keyrings, which have proven to be quite popular. £2 a pop. If you fancy a keyring featuring a letter, or a combination of letters let me know. There are various designs for each letter so you'd have to pick your favoured illustration.

Oh, and plushies, which I then turned into keyrings/charms.
