Becca is another illustrator who contributed to the dot.to.dot.exhibition. The framed images on display were part of a series of drawings in Beccas own cookbook 'plateful'. All the illustrations were pain stakingly hand drawn with the use of a dip pen. Becca scoured charity shops and vintage boutiques in order to find the perfect plates to hold each dish. All the recipes contained in the book she cooked herself and the illustrations of the meals really did look delicious. I was so impressed with her work as you can see her love of art and food colliding into such a beautiful cook book. The book also contained lovely hand rendered text.
